Meet Dr Rebecca Beaton
Medical experience, clear communication and a practical plan centred on what matters to you.
Care starts with your goals: moving more comfortably, returning to activity or understanding an injury.
20 years in sports and emergency medicine
Dr Rebecca Beaton brings 20 years of experience across sports medicine, emergency medicine, critical care and trauma. Her work combines the precision required in elite sport with the calm decision-making demanded in frontline emergency care.
From community sport to Melbourne Storm
Rebecca's interest in sports medicine began while volunteering on the sidelines of local football. After international experience in Ireland, her involvement progressed through community and state-level programs to years caring for players at Werribee Football Club. She now leads the medical care of one of Australia's premier professional sporting organisations.
A patient's perspective
A relatively minor injury of her own highlighted how confusing the health system can feel when the goal is simply to recover. That experience strengthened her belief that patients deserve timely expertise, clear language and plans that work in real life.
Care for every body
From professional athletes to people returning to exercise after years away, the approach is consistent: listen, assess carefully, explain what is happening and agree on a path forward together.
Beyond the clinic
Rebecca is a proud Tasmanian, a busy mum and happiest outdoors, travelling with her family or watching and playing sport. She understands that staying active matters not only for performance, but for health, independence and quality of life.
