Effective date: 15 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms explain the use of the Melbourne Sports Health Clinic website. The website is operated by BEO Health Solutions Pty. Ltd., ABN 73 684 185 251, trading as Melbourne Sports Health Clinic. References to we, us and our mean that operator.
These terms relate to website use. They do not replace the discussion and consent required for individual treatment, the clinic's confirmed appointment arrangements, or your legal rights. For information about personal information, read our Privacy Policy.
2. General information and emergencies
Website information is general. It is not a personal diagnosis, treatment recommendation or substitute for advice from a qualified health professional who has assessed you. Do not delay appropriate care because of something you read here. Viewing a page, sending an enquiry or submitting information does not by itself mean a clinician has assessed your condition.
The clinic, website, email and social media accounts do not provide an emergency service. If you need emergency medical help, call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not use online bookings or enquiries to seek an urgent clinical response.
Clinical outcomes vary. Website descriptions explain our approach and services; they are not guarantees of recovery, a particular result or a return-to-sport date.
3. Appointments and online bookings
Online booking takes you to the clinic's Zedmed booking portal, which has its own relevant terms and privacy information. Appointment availability, consultation types and confirmation details are shown through that service or confirmed by the clinic.
Please provide accurate booking and contact details and check your confirmation. Contact us if you are unsure which appointment type to choose or if you do not receive confirmation. If a booking problem occurs, call 0437 407 854 so we can help.
No referral is needed to make a booking. Medicare and other funding eligibility are separate questions; check the applicable requirements with the clinic before your visit. A booking or website statement does not guarantee a rebate or third-party payment.
Services marked coming soon, including planned procedures, are not currently available to book. Our online referral form is provided through Snapforms. Submitting a referral confirms receipt only; it does not confirm an appointment or provide urgent medical assessment. Please provide accurate information and ensure you have the patient's consent or another lawful authority to share it. Call the clinic if you need help or another referral pathway.
4. Fees, payment and cancellations
Current consultation fees and eligibility information are on our Fees page. Prices are in Australian dollars. Payment is due at the consultation unless another arrangement has been agreed with the clinic. Any different or additional treatment costs will be explained before you agree to them.
Please give at least two hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Under the clinic's current policy, an $80 late-cancellation or non-attendance fee applies where less notice is given or an appointment is missed, subject to applicable law. This fee is not claimable through Medicare. Genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances are considered individually; contact us as soon as possible.
We will explain applicable fees before you commit to a service. A later change to website pricing or these terms does not, by itself, change an existing agreed appointment fee or cancellation arrangement. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
5. Using the website responsibly
Please use the website lawfully. Do not impersonate another person, knowingly provide false information, upload harmful material, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt the website or another person's use of it. If acting for someone else, make sure you have the necessary authority.
Do not send health records through public comments or social media messages. Contact the clinic to confirm a suitable way to send sensitive documents. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled, including the limitations of ordinary email.
6. Content and intellectual property
Website text, design, photographs and logos are owned by or licensed to the clinic or their respective rights holders. You may view the website and print or save information for personal, non-commercial use, subject to any applicable third-party restrictions. Do not reproduce material commercially, alter branding or imply endorsement without permission. This does not restrict uses permitted by law.
References to external organisations describe relevant experience or services. They do not imply that those organisations endorse every service offered by the clinic.
7. External links and website availability
Links to booking, mapping, social media and other external services are provided for convenience. Those providers control their services, terms and privacy practices. Linking to a third party is not a guarantee about all of its content. This does not remove any responsibility the clinic has under law for its own services or information handling.
We take reasonable care with website information, but errors, interruptions and changes can occur. If something appears incorrect or inconsistent with information supplied by the clinic, contact us for clarification. We cannot promise uninterrupted website access, but the contact details below provide another way to reach us.
8. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Where those rights apply, you are entitled to the remedies provided by law.
These terms do not impose a blanket waiver of responsibility for clinical care, data handling or website services. If you believe something has gone wrong, please contact us so we can consider the concern and the appropriate response.
9. Questions and complaints
Contact Melbourne Sports Health Clinic on 0437 407 854, email admin@melbournesportshealthclinic.com.au, or write to 312 Mount Dandenong Road, Croydon VIC 3136. Address complaints to Dr Rebecca Beaton. Our Privacy Policy explains the clinic's complaint process and the HCC and OAIC contact options. These external rights are not limited by these website terms.
10. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms when the website or relevant requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Updates apply prospectively to website use and do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or alter agreed services without a lawful basis.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Victoria, Australia. This does not limit rights you have under other mandatory laws or your ability to use an applicable regulator, tribunal or court.
